CAF Confederation Cup: AS FAR leave Korhogo with a goalless draw
The first leg of the second preliminary round finished 0-0. Qualification remains to be decided in the return match.
AS FAR and CO Korhogo drew 0-0 on Saturday 17 October 2026 at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly stadium in Korhogo, Côte d’Ivoire. Hespress and Radio Mars report the result of the Moroccan club’s away match.
The fixture was the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup. The draw therefore leaves qualification undecided, with both clubs still in contention before the second leg.
In its match report, Hespress says an effort by the Ivorian side was disallowed for offside after the interval. The reported score consequently remained goalless. The disallowed effort cannot be counted towards the result.
Hespress announces the return match in Morocco for 25 October. AS FAR will meet the same opponents again to settle the tie; the draw in Korhogo does not yet secure a place in the group stage.
