Enki Bilal in Marrakech: drawings on show at Dar El Bacha
The exhibition that opened on 15 October presents selected work by the artist, organised by the National Museums Foundation and Artcurial.

The Musée des Confluences Dar El Bacha in Marrakech has been hosting an Enki Bilal exhibition since 15 October 2026. The National Museums Foundation and Artcurial organise the presentation, confirmed by the official Visit Marrakech tourism portal.
In its 17 October article, Hespress reports around twenty drawings and describes the event as the artist’s first exhibition in Morocco. It is a selection of his work rather than a complete inventory of his career.
The announced display combines original comic pages, paintings and drawings produced over several decades. It places the images in a museum setting, beyond their reading on the pages of an album. Drawing and painting provide the two threads running through the presentation.
Visit Marrakech lists several techniques among the announced works: India ink, gouache, acrylic, pastels and grease pencil. This range offers a way into the selection through how the images are made, alongside the stories and characters to which they relate.
