Tangier: university theatre festival scheduled for 26 to 30 October
The 19th FITUT plans performances, workshops and discussions with artistic teams.
The International University Theatre Festival of Tangier (FITUT) announces its 19th edition from 26 to 30 October 2026. On 18 October, Hespress relayed the organisers’ statement, which puts student creativity and cultural exchange at the centre of the event.
Performances are planned at the Palace of Arts and Culture and other venues in Tangier. The announced programme brings together educational and artistic institutions from Morocco and eight other countries: Spain, Poland, Oman, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Armenia and Italy.
Theatre workshops are set to accompany the performances. Discussions and debates after the shows are also planned to allow audiences to engage with the artistic teams.
