Salé: a meeting about what books change in readers’ lives

The fourth Chaghaf Al Qiraa reading gathering is announced for Friday 16 October 2026 at 5pm at the Fqih Tétouani Foundation in Salé. Alyaoum24 and Febrayer agree on the schedule and the partnership with the Culture sector of Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication.

The announcements name researcher Abdelwahab Rafiki, writer and journalist Saïd Mountassib and journalist Fatima Ifriqui. Abou Bakr Fqih Tétouani and writer Latifa Baka also appear in the programme. Media accounts differ on their roles, so a precise division of presenting duties is not established here.

The theme concerns the Moroccan intellectual’s relationship with books. Personal experiences give this format its interest: describing a significant reading experience can illuminate how an idea develops, is debated and changes.
