Beach soccer: Morocco secure their AFCON place
A 7-1 win over Libya in Salé completes an 11-3 aggregate victory.

Morocco qualified for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations finals after beating Libya 7-1 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé on Sunday 18 October 2026. Hespress Français reported the result on 19 October.
Marco Octavio’s side had won the first leg 4-2 in Benghazi. The return victory therefore gives Morocco an 11-3 aggregate score, turning their first-leg advantage into a confirmed place at the finals.
Morocco will join the finals hosted by Senegal. This is separate from qualifying for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup: the African competition will determine which teams take the places at the global tournament.
