Casablanca: MASI falls 0.13% on 19 October
The main indices close mixed, with the Mid and Small Cap gaining 0.14%.
The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed the Monday 19 October 2026 session with a slight decline in its main index. According to official bulletin number 193, the MASI ended at 16,975.82 points, down 0.13% from the previous session.
The indices did not all move in the same direction. The MASI 20 fell 0.46% to 1,226.30 points and the MASI ESG was almost unchanged, slipping 0.01% to 1,253.26 points. The MASI Mid and Small Cap moved the other way, gaining 0.14% to close at 1,618.88 points.
The comparison with the start of the year gives a different perspective. At 19 October, the MASI was down 9.93% from 31 December, against declines of 17.46% for the MASI 20 and 12.09% for the Mid and Small Cap. The MASI ESG retained a gain of 0.14% against that annual reference.
