Casablanca: MASI gains 1.20% over the week of 12-16 October
The index closes Friday at 16,997.92 points despite a slight decline in that final session.

The MASI ended the trading week of 12-16 October 2026 at 16,997.92 points, against 16,797.10 at the previous Friday’s close. Comparing the two official Casablanca Stock Exchange bulletins gives a gain rounded to 1.20%.
The three other indices tracked also rose over the period. Calculated between the same closing dates, gains were 1.32% for the MASI 20, 0.96% for the MASI ESG and 0.54% for the MASI Mid and Small Cap.
The 16 October session alone nevertheless showed a slight MASI decline of 0.01%. An almost flat day can therefore end a positive week: daily change compares with the previous session, while this weekly calculation uses the 9 October close as its reference.
The annual picture remains different. At 16 October, the official bulletin showed the MASI down 9.81% from 31 December. The weekly rise recovered some lost ground without erasing the decline since the start of the year.
