Luxembourg: checking new first-residence procedures

A Luxembourg reform announced for 1 October concerns initial applications to settle for more than 90 days. The reported change replaces the previous procedure with a long-stay visa application.

Scope matters: renewals, category changes and family members of EU citizens may follow other rules. Required procedures after arrival must still be completed with the competent authorities.
