Morocco U17 score six against Gabon in a preparation match
The young Atlas Lions win 6-0 in Salé, with two goals from Wahib El Antary.
Morocco’s under-17 team beat Gabon 6-0 on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé. The FRMF confirmed the result in its statement issued the same day.
Rami Lougmani opened the scoring in the seventh minute. Nassim Laarej scored in the 47th, followed by Wahib El Antary in the 68th and Ismaël Ziani in the 70th. El Antary added his second in the 78th, before Ibrahim Rabbaj scored in the 86th.
The federation says the game forms part of the preparation programme led by Ahmed Kantari and his staff for the next Under-17 World Cup in Qatar.
The victory remains a friendly result. It provides an update on the young Atlas Lions’ preparations, rather than a qualifying match or a result from the World Cup finals.
