Cement deliveries by members of Morocco’s Association Professionnelle des Cimentiers (APC) reached 1,460,271 tonnes in September 2026, compared with 1,223,924 tonnes in September 2025. The association’s publication, consulted on 6 October, reports year-on-year growth of 19.31% for that month.

Over the first nine months of the year, cumulative deliveries were approximately 10.99 million tonnes, against 10.86 million during the same period in 2025, an increase of 1.17%. September’s growth rate was therefore substantially higher than cumulative growth. Applying the monthly increase to the whole year would misrepresent the results.

The scope also matters: these figures cover APC members’ deliveries. The association explains that IPSOS collects and aggregates their data before sending it to the ministry responsible for housing, which also consolidates deliveries by non-member operators. The series quoted here should not be described as total national production.

These volumes shed light on material supplies, but do not directly measure completed homes or property sales. To assess construction activity, deliveries must be read alongside their period and coverage, then supplemented with indicators of building projects and financing. Higher tonnage alone does not establish that housing prices have risen.
