The Party of Progress and Socialism, the Front of Democratic Forces and the Neo-Democrats announce a joint group in the House of Representatives. Hespress and Assahifa reported an agreement bringing together 22 MPs on 10 October 2026.
According to Hespress, the PPS’s 19 elected members are joined by one female MP from the Neo-Democrats and two female MPs from the FFD. The outlet links the agreement to a joint statement issued in Rabat on 9 October for the 2026-2031 legislative term.
The grouping concerns parliamentary work. The parties say they intend to coordinate legislation, scrutiny and evaluation of public policies while retaining their identity and autonomy. A joint group does not, by itself, mean the parties are merging.
This arrangement provides a collective framework for the 22 members. Its practical significance will become clear in parliamentary proposals and positions. The announced agreement does not establish here a government’s final composition or the number of its supporters.
