The Democratic Association of Moroccan Women announces its sixth Democracy and Equality forum for 10 October 2026 at 9:30 a.m., at Casablanca’s Idou Anfa hotel. The invitation published on Tanmia and AlYaoum24’s report of 9 October agree on this appointment.

The programme includes two studies: one on political violence against women, the other on their media representation during the 2026 legislative elections. The announcements consulted do not present their results; no figures can be inferred from them.

Bringing these subjects together raises a useful question for public debate: who can speak, and how is that voice treated? Counting appearances is insufficient to describe the quality of participation. Examining the conditions of debate and media narratives allows more precise questions to be asked.

When the studies are published, their methods will need to be read alongside their conclusions: the period observed, the material studied and definitions of the phenomena measured. This will help distinguish documented findings from positions advocated by the association. The forum is announced for tomorrow; this article is not a report of its proceedings.
