The official calendar announces the third Emergence salon at Casablanca’s Villa des Arts from 4 November to 17 December 2026.

The organisers’ presentation includes, with BASMA, an exhibition, residencies and professional meetings. This programme raises a question: how can the encounter continue beyond the event?

For an artist starting out, showing a work and building a career require different forms of support. Talking to a professional can help clarify an approach; time to create allows it to be tested. Connecting these opportunities deserves as much attention as the opening.

Our reading: a salon’s value also lies in relationships that survive its closure. The continuity of collaborations will need to be observed to assess this support. For now, we analyse an announced programme, without claiming to have seen the works or evaluated its results.
